3 or 4 times a week I tend to go to the gym for about 40 mins around 11:30 and bury myself either swimming or cycling. it doesn't seem to matter what i eat for lunch i always spend the afternoon snacking continuously.
i am a bit known for being a greedy guts at the best of times and the wife is convinced I have a tapeworm, i was just wondering if anyone could recommend a supplement or food stuff that might keep the old hunger locked up until dinner time.

cheers

Follow the Daily Mail link on there. That'll stop the old hunger knock.

Cashew nuts(high in protein) and a For-Goodness-Shake used to keep my post gym hunger at bay.

Dried fruits - apricots etc. Contain only 'good' carbs.

You have to watch portion size with those as a packet has a huge amount of calories, and before you know it you've eaten half a days RDA.

I always find fruit the best thing to snack on, can't get enough of it Very Happy
That and tea Very Happy

The cashew nuts in question were unsalted and mixed in with dried cranberries, so not too bad.

For goodness *CENSORED*.... just drink a pint of milk, a third of the price, more protein and tastes better

And he's right about cashews, salted or unsalted large amount of fat, as in any nut, and having dried cranberries doesnt cancel it out

Todays post gym snack was tin rice pudding, 3 egg whites, 2xwholemeal toast, a whey shake with water

some days its a whey shake, a tin of tuna, packet of fig rolls

some days bowl porridge with whey powder, pint milk, chicken breast

...just experiment, and dont be afraid of eating, you need to feed ur body back
