Apologies if I've failed to find the answer but am I right in thinking then venue is STILL unknown? The best I can find is Nov 5-7 and have subsequently booked my annual leave appropriately but I'd like to look for budget flights, if only I knew where I was going! Any clues?

Thanks. I couldn't find it there either - just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Latest 'possible' venue is St Petersburg but I'd wait before booking flights to there.

If someone can scrape together a few Swiss Francs we could hold it in Newport.

Er, yeah - I won't book just yet! I was thinking Copenhagen or Poland would be nice; if the UCI would like to consider my wishes. I've got about 30CHF from a skiing holiday that I'll happily donate to the Newport fund though Laughing

spoken to enrico, the president of the uec and italian cycling federation and he tells me its going to be poland for the elite championships, pending final approval of the venue, which as you all know hosted the 2009 worlds so shouldn't have a problem hosting the euros
