Jaysus - you're brave. Last time I was there I witnessed 3 RTAs from my hotel balcony...

It's on the main route from Faro airport to Albufeira on the left hand side coming from the airport. There's also another bike shop on the left before you reach Bikeland, which I think also hires bikes, but it was closed at the time so can't comment.
The availability of road bikes at Bikeland was pretty limited so you may want to book one in advance. The bikes themselves were servicable enough - just don't expect high end exotica.
As for the roads - yeah the main roads can be a bit mad, but get a map and find the small lanes away from the coastal strip - very quiet! Try and find a good map though - signposting is practically non existent. |

| The other bike hire shop is on the right before Bikeland. (N125) Immediately before the Quarteira/ Loule roundabout. |
