Are the dates/venues announced yet? It's getting a bit late if it starts in May!

Bit gutted there is no exeter round this year. It seemed really popular both years it ran here, and more importantly my new office is right on the course and has a great, 2nd floor view of one of the main corners.

I am sure its failure had something to do with the closure of the SWRDA which in all honesty I would say is an acceptable side effect of closing down that bunch of money wasting crooks.

Anyhow....

I hope they use the same route as last year for round one.

Would have said more to do with the end of Cycling England and so Cycle Exeter, as they were heavily involved.

Or that's what that article in the Echo suggests.

That's confirmed, by someone who should know. Another nightmare for the judges, hope they have transponders! It's a great night's entertainment, unless you happen to be a rider/judge/commissaire, I suppose. Well worth a look, wonderful chaos.

the race was really good on Tuesday, the coverage of the same race last night on ITV was absolute shyte. Boulting should be shot, he's a cock.

Laughing
I hadn't watched the race when I posted that this morning. Just watched it now. TV coverage did not give any idea of what was going on and I wasn't keen on the new commentator.

Good win for Dempster though, the shot of him after the finished really tells you how much it hurt.

Peterborough race was not as good to watch as the previous rounds. Rapha look very dominant at the moment.

Went to Colchester, cracker of a race, lots of tactics, good break, massive pile up (no serious hurt), chaos in the pits, tight finish, excellent!
I wouldn't fancy being a judge or commissaire though....best to be a team manager and just shout at the slaves (oops, I meant riders!).

Were endura right to chase down Voss on the last lap @ stoke? They got the win, but if they had held back they might have been able to place 3 riders highly instead of just two, or is the general consensus that it was coming back together anyway?

They could have thought they either needed to be on the front or get swamped.
It was odd though, but to place 3 riders highly Voss would have needed to stay away.
Good to watch though.
