I read an article on Team Sky and when talking about Wiggins' lack of form in the 2010 Tour, Dave Brailsford said something along the lines of "he could have drunk all the pineapple juice in the world but he just didn't have the legs and if you haven't got the legs then it won't make any difference".

Presumably this means that one of the following is true:

A) Dave Brailsford was off his t1ts during the interview
B) Wiggins just really likes pineapple juice
C) Pineapple juice is the new beetroot

Does it have magical cycling-related benefits?

Euphemism for all the energy he could take onboard. His legs weren't strong.

Pineapple juice is allegedly good for making bodily fluids less pungent. In the opposite way that asparagus makes them stink.

I see Sad

Looks like I'll have to resort to that whole "training" malarkey instead if I want to improve then...and maybe the pineapple juice could make me smell pleasant should I push it too hard and start to perspire.

Rabbit juice is what you want, it's got more of a kick.
