Well my old Trax turbo trainer has final broken so any suggestions for a good replacement?
Not a turbo fan as I find it boring but some times it is the only option to get the legs turning.
I do like the idea of a gel roller ones as it saves using turbo tyres.

Very much depends on what you're willing to spend! But I agree, especially now winter is coming, using a turbo trainer or something similar is just the only option...
I recently bought the Elite Arion digital rollers at Evans Cycles, and am very happy with them. The rollers can take a bit of getting used to, but as soon as you're adjusted, you're good to go. But they weren't cheap... That particular shop often has some special offers and voucher codes (at http://www.voucherbox.co.uk/ for example) though, so you might be able to get a bit off your purchase.
That being said, I'd really recommend the Elite Arion digital one. You're still able to track speed, cadence, heart rate etc, which is something I sometimes missed when I used my old rollers. |
