no.

- the best thing about it was the photography, I always thought, which was Graham Watson mainly (now at CycleSport etc). The worst thing was all those cheesy US ads.

No, definitely not. Winning started off okay, but then it covered nothing but US racing. Maynard Hershon, remember him? He had a column at the back called 'Down the bike shop' or something.

still have the 10th anniversary issue from '93 I think and it wasn't that bad. Maynard Hershon came to England once and I met him when he was in Coventry. Nice bloke, used a bit of our conversation in his article which I was well chuffed at Laughing
Procycling and CycleSport are better but at least it wasn't as bad as VeloNews, a real typical Yank mag ( and not that kind either!)

Any post about 'Winning' would be nothing without a comment from Mssr Hodge... Winning should have made him their salesman...!

Thrillster.

Remember Pro News - great mag; caustic writing and fantastic photos.

International Cycle Sport - ok pictures, but the grammar and spelling was appalling.

It was good, but only in the context of a dreadful Cycling Weekly (almost all black and white), and the lack of news that CW didn't cover (now catered for by the world wide web).
