There's nothing better than listening to your iPOD on your long lonely training rides.
My favourite track at the moment is Gwen Stefani - What you waiting for!!!

It really gets you going Smile

Why?
I can understand it if you have it so loud you cant hear a car horn!!!
Also the roads where I live are reasonably quiet.

So do you have a tune when your on your turbo?

I sometimes listened to a Walkman back in the mid-80s, if I was going for a long steady ride.

T`aint dangerous, I often have the radio/tape playing, anyway you can only really hear it properly when theres no traffic and your going slow i.e up a climb.
Any traffic / wind drowns it out, keep the volume lowish and you can hear revs behind no probs.

Fav tune - any U2 Cool
Listening to a comedy tape aint good laughter doesn`t help when your nailing it, and/or people think your a bit nutty!

p.s If you don`t agree with people listening to music, you should see the old guy who regularly plods up and down the A6 with ear defenders on!! Shocked

I think it is actually illegal to wear earphones while riding.
But saying that I nearly always listen to a walkman.
Heavy metal of dance music is what keeps me going.

I agree Very Happy I've got an I-River 40gb, I sometimes use it on the bike when I'm on my own on long rides. I have the volume at a level where I can still hear traffic behind me.
