well yes
but wouldn't it be good if tony did one and covered it
the report would be full of swearing with the conclusion being don't ride sportive as they are pointless and blo ody hard

which makes a change from the usual cw sportive write up

I will if you will (do the Fred Whitton)

Or what if i organise one especially from Gretna, the Tony Bell Challenge,with single female cyclists particularly invited, after the ride you choose a wife and get married over the anvil in the Blacksmiths shop.
