I got tested four times in the space of a long week-end, I thought they were taking the p!ss.

Got test in San Sebastian and was so dehydrated I was in dope control for about five hours, was nearly lynched by all the other riders waiting on the bus, then had to stop the bus three times on the way back to the hotel to pee.

I've never been tested but I can remember three occasions where tests were done at open track meetings with national series events and at least two national road events.

Five of these tests were done in the Yorkshire/Lincolnshire area

quite a few times, mainly after winning world or national medals plus a few random's (normaly after coming 4th Sad ) The ones with the medals at least got summat out of it. Last season I think it was 4 times, including twice in 24hours on the first weekend I raced. You have to find techniques to get yourself to pee with someone watching, otherwise you ca be there all night, I tend to exchange funny dope testing stories with the testers.

Like Monk, I have been tested at track meetings quite a few times and 4th does seem to be picked quite often Confused Just what you need after losing a Bronze medal or the chance of getting in the final Mad

Never been tested in a RR or TT, but that's probably because I am sh!te at those Laughing

Never had a problem going, but I'll have a free can of Pepsi anyway Wink

I think they should test you. You always look totally spaced out in the Kenilworth Cross on Boxing Day every year!

In my cycle speedway days i got tested about 20 times a year, not so much in Oz!!

The interesting thing is early on they basically asked for one sample in a jar, with no evidence that it was my sample. In the later days, however, i had to pee into the jar with 2 people watching to ensure it was mine.

Never been positive, although a mate of mine was guilty for Sudafed (12 months ban)

Got tested after last years national team pursuit and was too dehydrated to fill the pot! Had to sit around drinking free water for 30 minutes until the urge came again!

We get random *CENSORED* tested in the Army too, and I've been tested 6 times in the last 5 years at my present unit as it is a training establishment.

All negative by the way, except one sample which gave no indications at all as I'd been drinking loads of water after a hard session the day before and all that came out was basically water!

I remember a lot of *CENSORED* testing being done at Manx week, though I never got called for it personally.
