Should the EUG have a website

EUG rightly or wrongly is misunderstood and constantly repeating itself on VR do you think a website would help?

EUG is perceived as anti-BC so the website might contain membership details, clear aims and objectives. The plans and pros and cons.

Would this asist the debate?

I think that 95% of VR members really don't care and don't want any more threads on the subject!

Speak for yourself. I care, as should anyone who cares about our sport.

You'll be one of the 5% then.

God why can't the so called filter on here, also filter out 'EUG' and other such crap.

The people that input into these posts are normally just moaners, who never contribute to any thread relating to anything but the 'EUG'

Cav winning 2 stages, Brad winning the 1 recently in Europe.
Think that made about 3 pages, yet this 'subject' must have made at least 100 so far.... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

But if, because of having a 'moaning' outlet on here, they moan at their families less then VR is actually providing a valuable family therapy service Smile

Cliff

All my family moan about BC & Eastway. It's good individual therapy though.

You'll find they contribute a hell of a lot to the sport though Patrick at all levels. You are not obliged to look at threads that mention Eastway or EUG in the title, as I believe this and the the other current thread do. Rolling Eyes

Also although we may not all agree with the EUG methods of campaign we all agree that replacing facilities and obtaining new ones are vital to the continued growth of the sport.

Debate, hopefully, will mean that the EUG eventually will work alongside BC to ensure the best possible outcome.

I think the improtant thing to separate here is people not caring about the users of eastway and people disliking the EUG because of how some of it's members come across on here. I don't think anyone has seriously suggested that they don't want a group of cyclists, any group of cyclists, to have the best facilities possible but frankly if the people who pupourt to speak for eastway users were representing my interests i would be looking for a swift decapitation (or recapitation) of the organisation.

I am interested, but overkill is never a productive policy as it starts to get on people's tits.
