For the record, I will NOT be riding the prologue flat out, as I am not going for GC. Therefore, I will not be "girled", technically.

I think Gary will do it. For Nicole its a demonstration event, as far as I know its the only stage she is riding. I may be wrong of course.

Put it this way the press release on the TDF win says that!!

Claimed I was going to win the Archer? Hmmm, I don't recall that. I believe I claimed that merely finishing would be a result for me, something I didn't even come close to achieving...

Girled: Being beaten by a girl. I learned the term from DNAse, but I doubt he will take credit for inventing it.

Stupid breaks are all you can do if you are as rubbish as me. I hope one day I can win every stage in a sprint and the TT and hence the overall, oh the sponsors, they would be queuing up for miles and miles for ME, the winner of a chipper stage race. I can see it now Rolling Eyes

Finally, alexc the word is sponsors - please spell check your postings in future to prevent further embarrassment.

It looks like Big C will get girled for free today. I hear he usually has to go to certain establishments and pay good money to get beaten by women. Wink

Sorry about the spelling how embarrassing is that in the bastion of grammatical perfection that is VR. I am sooo shamed. but you are the one who choses not to use his sprint to win races (you did say you could sprint) and would rather waste himself in a stupid lone break. If thats what you aspire to then why don't you ride time trials.
And yes I have won races both from a lone break, small group and bunch sprint and like goals in football they all count. Wink

M'lud, I refer the accused to his following statement delivered at 19:43:03 on the 28th March 2007:

It's official - I am crap Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Was so far off the pace today, legs felt rubbish. Wheel pulled over going up the hill, so had to dismount and reset it.

Tucker's blog is almost done and he'll be uploading it soon, so watch out for his rapidfire wit!

David Griffiths won overall with 11:short

Loadsa people got "girled" as Rachel Mercer (New Zealand rider) did a middle 12 to come around 20th overall! Nicole bimbled for a short 13.
