So he's third on GC with today's TT ahead. Will he do enough to win overall?

Looks like Dekker has talked himself out of it.

Quote:
Looking to Wednesday's closing time trial stage, the 22 year-old Dekker said, "At least I have the leader's jersey for one day, and I will defend it in the time trial." He picked Millar to end up winning the stage and race, because "he has the best form of all."

I certainly hope so - it might mean a bit more publicity when he rides the Nocturne on Saturday!

And wouldn't a double British win (Millar overall and Cavendish on points) be some kind of a record?

Looks like I am the only one who has voted no so far. Millar does not appear to be living up to the hype this year. Something tells me he won't do it.

I think he has done well in road stages, his testing has appeared a little below his usual standard. I reckon 6 seconds in just shy of 30km is very do-able for him. Suppose we also need to wonder what Hoste etc will do who are lurking just behind him.

i disagree. he's looked strong all year, maybe not in TT's but on the road and in attacks he's always been a threat imho.

I hope he wins, and if Cav hangs onto the sprinters jersey it will be a fantastic result for the colonies.

Or you could just watch it on Cycling.tv. Same feed and it's just as free, but you can adjust for your connection speed, etc.

Starts 2pm today. Can't wait.

Work is fine thanks Wink

My sentiments are that I would like to him to win and hope he does. The realist in me says he won't. I have been known to be wrong though. Laughing
