not just your body fat % that affects your ability to have a six pack. get to the gym and work hard, lots of squats, curls and crunches. I know I go on about it but body pump (if run correctly) is very good for this and overall tone.

You could be a fat free twiglet but still not have a sixpack.

Depends on where you store most of your fat.
Some store most on there gut, others on their legs and ass

Body Pump, complemented by some of your own ab work should do it. Combine this with some cycling to strip the fat down = six pack. I would say about 8% fat should see you right.

Roemary Conley is richer than me Wink It's all in the marketing. Body Pump as I understand it is a form of weight machine circuit training with a bit of Step Aerobics thrown in. Just a 'catchy' name.

Same old stuff, new name, new package, market it to gullible types who will pay over the odds for what they can get for a lot less at 90% of gyms (or even in the local sportshall for £2.50 a session)

If you see what i mean.

Won't be long before 'L' shaped cranks are back.

I know what you mean about the name Body Pump - it's rubbish. I cringe when I say it. However, it is an excellent class. I could tell you all the moves, all the music and you still wouldn't be able to recreate it on your own, you need it as a class, with a competent instructor directing you on encouraging you to push yourself.

Also never understimate the power of a class full of babes to help you lift that little bit extra weight. Wink Cool Laughing Razz
