After a reasonable turnout on tuesday night it seems aparent for the need to split the group again, people had been setting out together for the past few weeks which has been good to keep it all together and controlled and safe. I had an idea about moving the meet from Leisure Lakes back towards Beeston to maybe Attenborough lights where the Beeston bunch still meet, we can then set out and roll through Long eaton together just like the good ol' days and then as we go ahead Breaston M1 bridge the group splits with both groups folowing the same route so people who set out with the fastER group dont have to worry if they get popped as the slowER group wont be far behind.

Any ideas or thoughts ???

Great in theory Rodders, but unless someone controls the pace so it stays as through and off, it will fail as the fast group did on the summer route last year. Instead of a chain gang it turns into an ego trip for the lads who are going well and want to show it.

For one I'm happy rolling round with Mick and the lads, so long as no-one blasts them out the back going uphill, it usuallly stays together with most taking their turn and is at a reasonable pace, particularly for me at this time of year.

Give it a try mate - folks will decide.

Is that the junction at the shops and petrol station? What time?

There has been a bit of 'unrest' in the ranks.
