Have had a sore throat for over 3 weeks now. Been to the Doc who sent me away with a flea in me ear telling me not to waste his time. As it's just a mild viral infection and I'll clear it me sen!

Have tried tcp, mecicated M/wash and soluble asprin. It sort of clears up and then comes back often after I've ridden my bike.
Shouldn't have such a minor thing this long?? Is the bike thing relevant??
Any ideas??

Hot lemon and honey to soothe, garlic in your meals as a natural way to help your system. Rest a few days off the bike and let your system deal with the virus. If it doesn't improve go back to your GP.

Try a bit of ground ginger in the honey and lemon. Keep drinking when you are out on your bike. Good luck, I get it every year about this time. Crying or Very sad

Let it clear up before you get back on the bike, not 'Sort of clear up'

A cup of warm water, teaspoon of salt and a couple of drops of vinegar. Keep gargling with this. Sounds daft but always gets rid of mine.
