Coming back to cycling after several years. I can only see through my left eye. Does anyone else ride a bike with sight in one eye, preferably the left? It would be easier if it was my right eye (or if I lived in a right side driving country), the problem is when I am turning right/overtaking a parked car it is difficult to look behind me, I have to turn my whole body round to see with my left eye and I start to feel unstable.

I used to ride occasionally in my 20s and never thought of it as a problem but now in my 40s feel nervous on the roads. Offroad I am fine, it's just in traffic I have a problem.

btw I have tried a mirror on handlebars without success.

I would really appreciate any tips from anyone who's been there which would give me motivation to get back on my bike.

I saw this on a website the other day. It might be worth a try.
