I understand this is a delicate subject but are there any fellow cyclists out there who have overcome a severe TBI especially effecting motor-control and vagus nerve damage - eventually re-learning how to walk, speak and write again , and if so over what approximate period of time ?. I'm asking on behalf of my partner who is 10 months into rehabilitation after a TT incident . I know its a heavy request but I do so want to give him further hope and encouragement. Thank-you (jacqui w).

Why don't you try contacting ARCOS www.arcos.org.uk they are a charity that specialise in this area. The lady that runs it is Kay Coombes who is also Professional Mountain Biker Liam Killeen's Mother. I hope this is helpful. Good luck & best wishes.
