Where I find this

AS: The other thing that surprised me is this idea of cancer taking away 15 pounds, it's another one of these publicly held beliefs that became so ingrained, and it was surprising to find that he didn't lose any weight post cancer. And not only that, he's listed as 5' 9", 5' 10", but we know from speaking to his teammates he's more like 5' 5", 5' 6". I guess you're on the metric system... (search for 'Cloak of secrecy', it's a long piece)

So there's disagreement over the man's height, never mind anything else, to the tune of 4 inches?!!

Liege Bastogne Liege was on the 25th.

I'll bet Mr Landis was thinking, "Botheration. I did everything by the book. Maintained my innocence* throughout. Didn't rat on anyone. Alright, maybe I went a teensie bit overboard with the Greg Lemond business. But I did my time and now I'm stuck in cycling's tenth division while Vinokourov is winning classics. Basso's back, Valverde never went away. Why can't I get a break. I know!"

Never going to get back into the big leagues. Marginialised. Nothing left to lose.

That's why it's best to stick to the facts, such as the fact that his face his too wide.

Unconnected I'm sure but LA has just abandoned the TOC after a chute.

Landis is like Lalin in Carlito's Way. The lowest sack of lowlife *CENSORED*, who when there is nothing left, tries to sell out his mates. What a fookin loser. The Mennonites knew what they were getting rid of him.

Interesting interviews. McQuaid wouldn't appear with Kimmage. Described $12k Armstrong donation to UCI as "loose change."

Don't know if they do "play again" but they do seem to have a podcast

http://www.newstalk.ie/programmes/all/offtheball/

Really good show

I don't suppose there's any chance he might actually be telling the truth this time? I mean, him saying everyone being on the gear is more credible than him saying he wasn't.

LA's 'denial' didn't actually deny anything. He just said Landis has no credibility and it's his word against theirs.

They're all on the gear. Put that to one side and just enjoy the racing. Just like we do with all the other sports where money is to be made.
