I've read somwhere that it's a no no, but is that true?

For those familiar with Pete Reed's Black Book, I was due to do the midweek power session week three today.

Is it put my feet up time?

And before I get any poofter type man flu replies from the ladies I genuinely can hardly speak!

Rest and recover. Hot honey and lemon helps. Manuka honey is good too.

It works better if you add fresh ginger some echineacea , followed by two cloves of Garlic then half an Onion , then quickly neck a yoghurt , repeat every 3hrs , and you'll be right as rain the day after .

Onions boiled in milk. Drink milk and eat the onions. At least that's what my maternal grandfather said Smile

Alliums are natural antiseptics so maybe he had a point.

Yeah, yeah. I know if I'd been living in Manningtree when Matthew Hopkins was around rather than centuries afterwards I'd have been thrown in the Stour, floated and burned at the stake. Laughing

Harsh, but fair..

If you try to train through a sore throat it will just linger on and on in my experience. A spoonfull of set honey straight out of the jar is the best fix I have found. You can feel it relieving the soreness as it reaches the inflamed bits. Well, that and a handfull of paracetamols. Confused

Twenty three minutes before you came up with that one, you're slow today.

Evening - Ginger wine and brandy (brandy mack), sip it slowly, works every time.

Daytime - Strepsils and plenty of OJ or Cranbury
