Did the bunch get warned in advance that it was a dodgy corner, as one of the breakaway nearly fell. No one mentioned it if they did.
I don't see how the radios helped. If the radios were successful for safety there would have been a warning about that corner, and no crash

In another crash, Yatesy found out about Brads condition by getting out the car and having a look.

I don't see how the radios helped. If the radios were successful for safety there would have been a warning, and no crash. As is was you've just got 200 riders with their DS shouting at them to be at the front the whole time.

Still, on the plus side, the cheating scumbag isn't in the tour anymore.

Not 100% clear on this.

I think MHO's point is that if you fall down a ravine and no one sees you, you can call for help on the radio!

If you are conscious.

Harmon was going on about that radios meant they could get the ambulance there faster, but the ambulance is at the back of the line of team cars and isn't going to get there any faster than they pass the accident.

The chances of no one seeing you are roughly zero

Not so in the Giro no one saw Ardilla? go over the barrier. Someone found the bike.

I take the point that the directors didn't prevent a crash however does that mean we should also ban in car TV?

Ban people from watching TV. How would you do that?
