I'm there with you my dear. Great ride to defend for so many days. He gave it his all to get up those mountains.

Very Happy

For goodness sake Ann and Gordon - don't you read the instructions?!!! Shocked

I said apart from the Top Ten to make it a bit more interesting. Please pay more attention! Wink

My excuse is jet lag, don't know about Ann Wink Wink

Thor Hushovd

Stage wins in style.

Ignoring the Green, even though on several occasions was well placed to add to his score; shows brains - not chasing two objectives.

Didn't try to compete against Cavendish, again showing brains.

I think that's as much to do with Farrar than anything else.

Precisely. He did not try to go against the team or Farrar, even though he had chances in intermediates to add to his score. He stuck to the plan, thus not making an enemy of Farrar or the team. Brains, I reckon.

For me the tour will go down as Vockler's tour but on the criteria Guy has set its Thor.

I thought his first win was probably the best taken win dispatching the two frenchman without waiting for the sprint and using Moncoutie expertly.

I was actually being serious about Kolobnev. How many people here would have been happy if there had been no failed tests?

I just assumed you liked his name because it looks a bit like it has the word knob in it.
