A thanks thread!

If a thread like this already exists well never mind but...

Rochester way SE9 a few weeks back I got a puncture 10mins from home I figured I'd just push the rest of the way as it was a damn hot day and I wanted to get home. Crossing the pelican I notice a Trek race by.. few minutes later he comes back says "Puncture?" I say "yup" he said .. "I have a spare inner if you need it" I say "no thanks I'm nearly home" and off he goes.

Thanks Trek guy.

Cyclists are great.

I remember giving someone a spare tyre up near the trough of bowland once - he was the most miserable b ar staad I have ever met - proper wiry audaz type - his sidewall had split on some big touring balloons

he goes ' I don't think I am going to enjoy riding home on a 23 mm folding tyre ' as though it was my fault

so I took it back off him and told him enjoy riding back on a flat
