Dura ace cranks are pretty stiff. Mind you i've never managed to break a crank.

2 year warranty on Miche components and have had replies from both Miche and Ribbles (who I originally purchased from) asking to send the crank back for replacement (and inspection in the case of Miche).

Well I had the crank replaced by Ribbles Smile - been on a couple of months. Then this morning the bl00dy thing collapses Twisted Evil

I think the chain ring collapsed - 1/3rd now missing, which then bent one of the arms of the spider and took a chunk out where the ring bolts on Exclamation

Not having a lot of luck with this one.

Have to say good bye to an old friend as well Crying or Very sad When the chainset collapsed it also bent the rear triangle of my faithful old 531 E.G.Bates track frame which I've only had for 21 years.
I won all my national grass track medals on that bike and also did my pb's for 4k and my fixed 25 pb as well. It even survived (with a dented top tube) Martin trying to take me out in the Bristow Devil Wink

So anyone got a track frame they want to sell - ideally with mudguard clearances Question
