Wozza was there. Without worrying about his ego he stepped up and rode. It's precisely his ability to be able to do this and smile and chat after the event before politely taking wise cracks from the likes of you guys which IS God given.

Someone comes last in every race that's ever ridden. Fact.
It's better than being the guy who's sat at home or even worse the guy who's riding around watching because his ego is worried he might get shown up.
