The old American Adventure site is being put out to Tender to Develop, there is a small posibilities that they may include some cycling facilities as its going to be a leisure related development.

Ive created a FACEBOOK group "Velopark" as a central point for all the info I have and who to contact to champion the facilities.
Please have stop by and have a look

86 Views and no responses (yet!).

Do all you locals think that the area has enough facilities already?

Steve's got the start of a good idea, there is masses of room at American Adventure, and Shipley Park right next to it (which is a pretty damn good cross course, except for the *cough* hills....) a bit of effort and you could end up with anything from a simple improvement to facilities for off road all the way thro to something similar to Shrewsbury/Hog Hill. Probably easier too as there was an Amusement park there before, so lots of facilities are already plumbed in, and theres access.......

Whats not to like?

I think its a good idea and i'm a thousand miles away........

Anyone else got any suggestions?

Have you contacted the local BC regional board? Or Dave Cockram?
