First win of the season.

Andrew Stuart – Ashfield RC took his first win of the season at a cold and blustery 2nd Darley Moor meeting at Whyston. After 2 very fast early laps Andrew made a decisive solo break and was never to be caught again, finishing over 1 minute ahead of the next rider. Midway through the race Jeff Snodin – Team Bradgate (last weeks winner) Steve Cocker – JF Wilson, Simon Owens- South Yorkshire and Wayne Webster – Beauvale CC made an attempt to catch the leader. They were unable to make any impression on reducing the gap, with the result that Wayne Webster lost contact and dropped back to the main group. With 4 laps to go Martin Ford – Race Scene CC and Scot Gamble – Ashfield RC joined the chasing trio. To show what a great ride Andrew was having he increased his lead and left the 5 chasing riders fighting for the minor places. Well done Andrew it was a great ride.
