Hi All,

We're conducting a study at Nottingham Trent University looking at sweat composition in athletes and are looking for participants.

The study involves visiting the university on one occasion for approximately 2 hours. You will perform 1 hour of moderate intensity cycling exercise in a warm environment (~30 degrees Celsius).

You will receive feedback about your sweat rate and sweat sodium (salt) content, which might be useful in optimising fluid and electrolyte replacement strategies during and after exercise.

We are looking for both males and females, but you will need to be generally fit and healthy and aged 18-45.

Please contact me at lewis.james@ntu.ac.uk if you are interested or would like more information. We can accommodate individuals and teams as we will be looking to exercise 5-6 individuals at a time and this testing will be taking place during January.

Regards,
Lewis

The £5k fee is optional.

Thanks for all the interest so far. We're looking for relatively large numbers for this study so anyone who's interested please get in touch and of course the testing is free.
