For me the Derby Merc ones are a bit too far away to get back before the light on an evening, what other club time trials are there in an evening/weekend are there in the area?

Where are you? Derby, Nottingham or a village somewhere - or where are you coming from? |

Take your pick.
On the east side of Nottingham, there's the Sherwood and Mapperley 10's on Tuesdays. Sherwood starts on the A6097 near Oxton. Mapperley just off the A614 near Calverton.
Thursdays is the Clarion 10 starting at the Lime Kiln Inn near Colston Bassett. |

As it's been a bloody age since I've last ridden properly, I figure a run of evening TTs to get my competitive blood flowing, without being demolished in an RR, is called for.
It's not quite the right time of year, but it'd be good to know what the scene might be like. Will the Sherwood and Mapperley evening 10s be running as they were last year, judging by Will's last post?
Cheers |
