Should be back to normal tonight - 6.45 at Little Chef just off the A38 - 2 groups one fast one medium. Some of us are doing a warm up 5.30 from the same place if anyone is looking to do a few more miles.
We've got a talk by Duncan Putnam on training with power at 8pm at the clubroom after which might interest some. |

Just bumping this up.
Tuesdays has been 30 plus riders most weeks. 2 groups fast and steady (20mph - edging up a bit during the ride and the last few miles turns into a race). Steady group regroups at Ripley market place to pick up riders dropped on the hill and does about 4 miles further coz it goes up to Whatstandwell.
THursdays - smaller numbers, just a fast group.
All groups through and off as far as you can manage - don't go with the fast group and sit on all the way just do the steady, same thing don't go with the steady if you want to rip it up there is a fast group for that.
Mainly Derby Merc with a few Belper, Heanor, DeUno and a couple of lads in sponsored teams like Duncan, Andy Young now and again Sharman etc. |

Im always amused that with chaingangs there is never a "slow" group - fast and medium, or for three groups fast, medium-fast and medium.
YER SLOW - GET OVER IT. |

Correct. 1 gold star. Another gold star is on offer if you can tell me whether London is in the East Midlands. |

No, London is not normally considered as part of the East Midlands. But I lived for 40 years in the East Midlands
That now makes three gold stars to me and none to you.
Unless you're considering a move there. _________________ "Never wrestle with a chimney sweep." |
