Please find below details of the next series of County Club Forums. In addition to a Regional Update from all of the British Cycling staff on the action points identified at the last round of meetings, the main themes this time around will be as follows:

2011 Event planning & delivery
We will be discussing the calendar of competitive events in the Region in all disciplines; including the potential for the development of new events and the support available for the delivery of events. Anyone with an interest in event delivery is welcome to attend; including riders, existing event organisers and new volunteers. This is a great opportunity to make a significant improvement to the program of events available to riders in the East Midlands. This session will be led by Regional Events Officer Jenny Gretton.

WATT Bike session
There will also be an interactive and practical session run by Regional British Cycling coaches to show club members and volunteers the benefits and advantages of using the WATT bikes and how they can be used to measure performance and technique. This will include a practical demonstration of how the WATT bikes can be used in a typical week club session. Please bring appropriate cycling kit if you wish to have a spin!
