We've been back on the winter schedule for a few weeks now - Tues and Thurs, 6.45, Little Chef off A38 island. Tuesday we had 3 groups and must have been close to 40 riders, Thurs not so busy - had 21 out tonight.

Through Denby to Ripley, down the A610 to Ambergate, down the A6 to Derby - you can cut through Ford Lane if you need to get back to the Little Chef after. A6 is really quiet at night.

It's pretty much all lit so only need lights to be seen. Steadier group normally turns right on the A6 and goes up to Whatstandwell and turns there. It's about 20 miles or 24 miles with the Whatstandwell bit.
It's pretty good for through and off and the fast group has a few strong lads on it so a good workout if you want it.

Well over 40 riders out last night - be good to keep those kind of numbers up through the winter.

Hello Tom
Do you ride every week. I live in Ilkeston and might have a ride over.
May finally get to meet all you riders that nod at me going the other way on the A6.
