On behalf of the Regional Board I would like to say a big thank you to all the volunteer marshals, officials, NEG, Specialized, iOptix and Today Cyclist for the donated prizes and the riders, that resulted in an excellent, safe race with no incidents or complaints.
As a result at least £400 will be donated to the East Midlands Youth Development Squad to fund Regional participation in National youth events.

Thanks to Pete and everyone else for putting the race on. Great race from my view, sat behind the main bunch. I'm just sorry I missed the finish.
I'm happy to say that my rather mediocre First Aid skills weren't required at all. One or two impatient drivers on the Six Hills to Burton section towards the end, but no incidents at all, thanks to the NEG and plentiful marshals. |
