There will be a road race league in the East Midlands this season, comprised of at least 8 rounds. Each race will be a Regional A 2/3/4 cat. race on open roads.

Details here: http://bc-eastmidlands.co.uk/emeg/emeg-road-race-league/

Many thanks to all the organisers that have agreed to take part in the League so far.

Cheers,
John Anglesea.

Thanks for your offer to help out at Mallory - we're not involved with the organising this year, please contact Mick Twelves - see Mallory page on the East Mids website.

    * The DMRC round on Windley is definitely NOT flat. Smile
    * The Beeston RC round is on Long Lane which is described as a 'sporting' TT course. It's got a few lumps in it.
    * Loughborough students are putting a round on Harby - not flat (although made considerably easier if you get a tow off a scooter) ;D
    * EMEG Notts round is on Willoughby which I'm not that familiar with, think it's flat-ish though?
    * EMEG Derbyshire round is on Melbourne which is hilly.
    * Not sure what Flawborough is like for the Notts Clarion round.
    * Leicester Forest CC race around Bruntingthorpe, again I would think rollling rather than hilly? Again not familiar with the course yet.
    * The EMEG Lincs race is going to be on the Witham St Hughs circuit, which is flat.

Plenty to go at for everyone there, I would think.

Clarion are using the Flawborough-Shelton circuit, it's pretty flat with a short climb up into Flawbrough village itself. This circuit was used for the Div champs in the early 80's. The climb is no more than about 50 feet in height and lasts about 300 yards.
