Its too hard to pick a winner from those riders in form, so to make it easier let's go for teams instead.. _________________ The internet is possibly the greatest bitch fest on earth. Expect anything than relentless ridicule for no good reason and your expectations are set way too high |

I went for Discovery, to make up for Sunday..
Their team have more riders that can be up there in the sprint - which I predict it will come down too.
I think Boonen will win - in a sprint - like he was meant to on Sunday. _________________ 73 |

Got my money on Boonen, Zabel, Eekhout(?) and Flecha.
Cant see Roger going for it. He's not the quickest of the contenders in a sprint and Sunday has got to be his priority.
As far as teams go, I think Discovery. |

Not Happy! I had 2 euros on Flecha to win at 25/1. Mattan clearly used the cars and motorcycles to draft his way to the front.
Having said that he was going so fast, he would probaby have whizzed past Flecha in any event. Nevertheless, I don't think Flecha would have been best pleased when he saw the replay. |

The belgian TV producer cut way from Mattan for quite a while in the run up to the finish. When he cut back Mattan was "on" the Shimano car.
What happened in the meantime? I mean the 300 metres that we
saw were bad enough jumping from car to moto, but how he got there we never saw.
The last view we got from behind Mattan before he caught up looked like an uncrossable gap. Did the TV moto then cruise slowly past him? _________________ I don't enjoy golf. BAN IT. |

A protest was lodged...Mattan was cleared...Shimano support car driver fined...Moto's warned.
