|
|
A few Derby Merc plus others are starting a midweek training run on Thursdays, 6.45 from the Little Chef at Little Eaton going up round Denby, Ripley, Ambergate and back down A6.
Idea is roll through and off rather than go mad and race each other. Should be enough said they are coming to make it worthwhile and see if we can establish it from there.
All welcome. If it works may revert to Tuesdays once the evening TTs are finished. |

I'd like it to be open to people who are fit but not necessarily racing - maybe getting into cycling - but still worthwhile for people who are a bit faster. A few of us down the Merc were talking about it so I thought give it a try and see if it works. |

Sorry should have said we are starting this on the 14th July - this coming Thursday.
Didn't realise I hadn't put the date on - apologies to the person that turned up this week and nobody was there. |

On again this week - a bit steadier than last week though - I'll say evens - I know that might be too slow for some people but there are other opportunities for flat out chain ganging. It'll be a small group but hopefully will pick up esp. when the evening TTs finish. |

Update- we are sticking with Thursdays as that was the preferred day of most of those who have been turning up regularly. It faster than originally planned. |

We've had between 3 and 6 people every week - so not many - could do with a few more. |
