As its another kick BC day, simple question, do you have confidence that your governing body is doing a good job in furthering the sport generally? |

Maybe a title of are you happy with the BCF would be more productive? |

I voted yes, just getting a general feeling off the board.
I've only had minor dealings with the Federation and I'm confident they're doing a good job _________________ World Masters Drive HillClimb For Taureans Category C Champion 2013.

I agree. Some people don't look at the big picture, just their own tiny patch. Get real guys!

London is a fairly big patch, and eastway was the best cycle sport facility there. _________________ Lets abuse with CAMERON |

London may be a fairly big patch, but Eastway is a small patch within it and not the only patch by a long shot. It may be one of the better patches, but still a small patch in a bigger patch of a bigger region of the whole thing.

Actually, I DO care, just that you cannot have EVERYTHING you want in life (even me). Sometimes compromises have to be made. Yet 'ypu lot' seem to be incapable of understanding that.

Were they tradeunionists after you were born, or before? If before, then they were 1950's tradeunionists...

Like I care. I'm not the one (like Brian) who is up there (at his own time and expense) being in charge of BC, whilst you bunch of sh1ts abuse him.
Abuse me all you like, I can give way much better than you could ever give. _________________ Straight Outta Compton

But why does a compromise have to be made with this issue? The owners of the land at Hog Hill are keen to develop it for cycling and have facilitated swift action in its promotion as an alternative to Ramney.
Big-C - why do you not support this? You appear to be taking the alternate viewpoint for the sake of it.
Why on earth would anyone prefer to race about within 7ha when there is a larger site available?
Or do you have a liking for being conservative with space as well as thinking? _________________ HKLP's need never apply

I think the Londoners here should be aware that everybody knows they did nothing when any other facilities north of the Watford gap were in trouble, they have not been replaced. So lets be aware that losing Eastway and gaining one of the best indoor track in the world, plus a road circuit on the same site is not going to be looked on as a disaster by anybody else. Suffer for a couple of years and the benefits will appear. |

I'm not taking a viewpoint on any side of this pointless debate on here, apart from the fact you lot are acting like
and I bet Hog Hill owner would love all that revenue from whoever has to fund it .... have you ever thought of that ? Thought not. Old piece of land, sold to whoever for x £million a year in grants .... Keeeeerrrrrching _________________ Straight Outta Compton |
