Big c, it doesnt do you any favours to start insulting me personally. |
Like I care. I'm not the one (like Brian) who is up there (at his own time and expense) being in charge of BC, whilst you bunch of sh1ts abuse him.
Abuse me all you like, I can give way much better than you could ever give. |
I don't care either. |

I think the Londoners here should be aware that everybody knows they did nothing when any other facilities north of the Watford gap were in trouble, they have not been replaced. So lets be aware that losing Eastway and gaining one of the best indoor track in the world, plus a road circuit on the same site is not going to be looked on as a disaster by anybody else. Suffer for a couple of years and the benefits will appear. |
As I said before - two wrongs don't equal a right. The road circuit would not be on the same site anyway.
Cycling is richer and better catered for now than it has been in recent years. Eastway also has the greatest attendance of any cycling facility in London.
If there was no alternative to Ramney I think that we Londoners would accept it. The fact is that there is a very viable alternative. The issue is not whether we get a replacement but which of the two sites that replacement is. _________________ HKLP's need never apply |

Actually, I DO care, just that you cannot have EVERYTHING you want in life (even me). Sometimes compromises have to be made. Yet 'ypu lot' seem to be incapable of understanding that.
Are you all descendants of 1970s tradeunionists ? |
But why does a compromise have to be made with this issue? The owners of the land at Hog Hill are keen to develop it for cycling and have facilitated swift action in its promotion as an alternative to Ramney.
Big-C - why do you not support this? You appear to be taking the alternate viewpoint for the sake of it.
Why on earth would anyone prefer to race about within 7ha when there is a larger site available?
Or do you have a liking for being conservative with space as well as thinking? |
I'm not taking a viewpoint on any side of this pointless debate on here, apart from the fact you lot are acting like
and I bet Hog Hill owner would love all that revenue from whoever has to fund it .... have you ever thought of that ? Thought not. Old piece of land, sold to whoever for x £million a year in grants .... Keeeeerrrrrching |
Big-C If you consider this a pointless debate then do us all a favour and go get colouring. _________________ HKLP's need never apply |

No, you were abusing Brian Cookson is a very subtle way. Discuss it properly, with an objective discussion. _________________ Straight Outta Compton |

I hardly call your first post on this thread an objective discussion, has the wind changed or something? _________________ HKLP's need never apply |

Good, because ldncycle is making some very good points here right now.
I am glad to hear that you are agreeing with him and thus agree that Hog Hill is the best option. Now can you get your pals at the BCF to get on the page. _________________ HKLP's need never apply |

My point was, you don't like it when you're being abused. I'm sure nor does Brian, when you are treating him in the same way. _________________ Straight Outta Compton |

If Zontor did like to be abused or insulted, would that make it ok to insult people then? |

Show me a TLI or any other organisation that has produced Olympic riders like BC have.... sorry but other organisations (even CTT) just do not come close.
I don't agree with everything - I would like more focus on Road Racing because I am passionate about it - but if RR can piggy back off the success of Track then I am happy about that.

Elaina put a post on the London Cycle sport forum when we were trying to resurrect Saffron Lane - to quote their response "what do we care about a Midland track?" _________________ World Masters Drive HillClimb For Taureans Category C Champion 2013.
