Correct, NS. Mold is where I work - for the 'Local Paper For Local People' - but it's true, there are loads of people living here who've moved from Merseyside. |

Bolton Evening News! Have you heard of Mark Rossiter, one time editor of BEN? |

Stu, you just initiated a spark of memorabilia, I of course am refering to that great mag winning the racing cyclists *CENSORED* mag. In fact Im just off to the garage to read some dusty old copies regaling stories of Kelly kicking everyones using a 22lb bike with downtube gear levers imagine that you 17lb wasters. _________________ "A friend in need is a friend you can do without" |

No, I lived in Bolton for the past 4 years. The BEN journalist were all on strike last time I was there, they were using staff to produce the paper. |

Just wondering. The guy who was the BEN editor who caused all the trouble there worked here last year. He was a psycho of the first order, but luckily for us hacks and hackettes, he got his marching orders |

When I said he worked here, I don't mean CW, I mean the paper I work for in Wales. |

Hi Tony - I don't like the way you talked about Eddy Merckx in one of your comments about a year ago and when I see you I'm going to smash your face in! |

You'd better get in the line, De Rosa. There's John Geddes in front of you, and the boss of Assos after I ruined the cool reputation of his kit in Newport. I don't think Assos has ever gone so slow |

Tones column is a breath of fresh air.
Anyone who's taken their riding even remotely seriously will be able to identify well with his articles about racing...
Anyone who votes for 'I'm a *CENSORED* Bingham' needs a good kicking in the goolies. _________________ Imagination is the war against reality.... |

The legendary Sean McVitty? Known to his mates as 'Half man half biscuit' and 'Hobnob'? Does anyone know where he is, because I haven't seen him for years. |

Last time I saw him was about five years ago at a race in Birch. He handed me a cig from his Red Van. He was working as a supplier of hair dressing products!
I always held McVitty in high regard as a character that the sport needs! |

Imagine my amusement, as I collected my winner's cheque at the Eagle Road Club 50 on Sunday, when I was told that I'd get a free ticket to the Eagle dinner to collect a trophy for winning said event, at which the guest speaker will be none other than Tony Bell. I'd better start thinking up witty, pikey-related cross-toasts... |
