How about another discussion category like 'any other business', or somesuch. I have nothing against it, but the 'road' discussions could be more race/riding orientated, and all the slagging off else where?
Maybe?

I suggested that before, not sure if it would work.

An any other business category wouldn't prevent slagging off on race/riding orientated threads. So no point.

reckon the current anarchic mixture is right. That's what gives VR it's energy. Some classy riders and some not so come on here and there's a mixture of serious stuff and banter all thrown together. We all accept each other for what we are (apart from PNuT and Bonger and a few others)and I think because there's leg pulling and serious all mixed up it has a life of it's own. Bit like a stinking swamp full of wild lovely creatures all predating on each other.

Maybe we should have a forum called "The Swamp" Laughing

Was not saying that 'slagging off' should stop, or that the 'mix' is wrong, just suggesting we should keep it separate from the 'road' discussions, as it seems to get crowded there with the 'general' hub-bub of chat.
Maybe.

reading back, maybe I wasn't clear. I'm not against any slagging off etc, in the 'road' section, (unless too personal, obviously) or any of the current content, what I was suggesting is that if some of the rather spurious threads, ie: 'who is heartbreaker' (don't read anything into that, that's just the one that comes to mind) should perhaps be under a 'general chat' heading, rather than stuffing up the 'road section'. Only a suggestion.
