BIG thank you to everyone who stopped this morning after the Derby crash. Hope the rest of you had a good ride. I made it back OK though I've pretzeled both wheels and have just finished reconstructing my elbow
As always, could have been worse _________________ I love the smell of GT85 in the morning |

Crikey, I knew nothing of Phil's crash which sounds very nasty - sorry I wasn't around to help but you guys must have been ahead and I only got as far as the centre of Derby before coming down.
My flesh wounds will heal quicker than broken bones
Get well soon Phil _________________ I love the smell of GT85 in the morning |

Phil was in a lot of pain when I stopped ( I was a few minutes behind), "Webbie" and "Son of" were already there both helped and waited with Phil until the Amubulance arrived also a passer by who just happeded to be an Intensive Care nurse stopped to help - she managed to sort out the idiots on the phone "son of" was speaking with and at one point she was concerned Phil might lose part of his arm or hand as it had snapped and was facing the wrong way - cutting off circulation.
Well done to Son of and Webbie for acting quickly and remaining with him until the ambulance arrived.
If anyone has any further news then let us know how he's progressing. |

dunno it was hard to get his full name and with the state he was in I didn't really want to ask. Someone did mention Rolleston but I don't know if that's right |
