A Mark Plowright Production.

Actually it's a good circuit he uses.

Wouldn't this thread be better in the East Midlands section?

No guys, i think the money raised should go to the MPEPS (mark plowright emergency petrol supply) and petrol pumps shall be placed at 1 mile intervals on the M1. Just incase it happens again Laughing Laughing Laughing

Meet at Wilford Toll Bridge. The footbridge that links Wilford with the Meadows, next to the Moderns Rugby ground.

Wilford, Ruddington, straight along the A60 Loughborough Road to Rempstone where left on the A6006 through Wymeswold.

Fork left through Willoughby, over the A46, to Upper Broughton. Right onto the A606 through Nether Broughton and up Ab Kettlby hill. It usually gets very hard here, and the ride splits for good. It's hilly from here on, and the lead group usually rides through and off for the remainder!

Left at the top through Eastwell. Left at the top of Belvoir hill to traverse below Belvoir Castle and down to Woolsthorpe. Straight over at the cross roads.

Over the hill to Denton, follow the road round the corner in the village, and up the hill to cross the A607 Melton Road, and more uphill!

Right the the T junction, and on to rejoin the A607 Melton road near Croxton Kerrial. Left towards Melton. All the way into Melton where right on the A606 towards Nottingham. You'll be tiring of the ups and downs now...

Cross straight over the A46 at Widmerpool roundabout and straight through Plumtree remembering to stop at that traffic light (unless you're in a "break" that's being pursued )

At the "Harry Wheatcroft" roundabout go left along Flawforth Lane to Ruddington to return to Wilford Bridge.

How long would you say from Wilford to Rempstone x-roads? 20 mins, perhaps 25 with Bunny Hill?

Could be a good point to tag along for the rest of the ride as I don't want the extra 35 mile round trip from Loughborough?
