Easy ride on low gears for about an hour (or the journey to work and back) _________________ www.kentonrc.co.uk |

None of the above. How about a light recovery ride, not too far, nor too fast Sod the turbo |

I think it depends on what you are doing on the next day and how much you did to recover from.
eg. If I was racing or training next day after a race I would just do nothing and ensure I replaced carbs, would be nice to put your feet-up but can never seem to acheive that with a family.
If I was resting next day and not racing the day after that I would do the same as above, but if I was racing in 2 days I would do a recovery ride the next day. _________________ _____________________________________

I agree with you on this one _________________ Murphy's Third Atmospheric Law of Bike Commuting is that the headwind you encounter on the way to work will shift 180 degrees in direction about 10 minutes before you decide to home. |

Tony Doyle used to advise 30 minutes rollers after any training/race. I like an nice hot bath after a ride and said that as I would taper the ride in to a steady state recovery ride in the last 30 minutes. I wouldn't just stop after a burn up though! Ooh no! _________________ 'What's up with her? I been hearing that she's been giving that stuff out to all them grafitti guys!' ' Yo, shut the  up, Chico, man!' A light road ride is good.
And afternoon naps make you feel great. _________________ I don't enjoy golf. BAN IT. |
