Which is better: Gordon's or Tanqueray? It's a matter of taste. _________________ "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong." H. L. Mencken

Well of course it is; but I was just interested in what the consensus of peoples taste is. |

Neither - Vuelta every time. More accessible, good racing, less hype. _________________ Doc

If of course Tucker would keep us posted of events on his blog.

Doubt she'll get a team together, even if she was interested. |

I've been fortunate enough to see both events - Giro and L'Tour and I would say I enjoyed the Giro far more.
L'Giro is still a big event but its more open for the supporters to meet their hero's and get up close.
the tour is just about Security all the way through and is usually SO busy you get a glimpse here and there of some people.
Whilst at the Giro I lost count of the number of riders I met or saw close up. Simoni, Cunego, Belli, Wegilius loads! I really could not imagine that happening at a modern tour
The Giro - like the tour was 10 years ago. _________________ Imagination is the war against reality.... |

Did you see last year's? Some of the stages were the dullest in the history of the sport. _________________ "Well done, you are 100% absolutely without a shadow of a doubt spot-bollock-on correct." - Tucker
