Does this mean that we are going to see increase in divisional teams on the race circuit.

Plus, what do you mean by major races? In the country or the division, and are you asking for riders in all age groups?

I don't know what plans other Div's have. The BC East Midlands Division will be putting a team in major races within the Division and around the country, these will include the Premier Calendar Series.

Riders of all ages with suitable ability will be incouraged to ride in the team.

If you look under the Club Contacts section of EM VR under thread Div Board you will see all the Div Officers listed. The Div is keen to support teams of riders in all cats Youth, Junior, U23, Senior who would like to race with others in the Division as a team in higher profile races such as Premier Calender or National Championships or National Series in their respective age group. This should appeal to riders who have ambitions to race at a higher level but are unable to do so in a team from their existing club. Many clubs have only 1 or 2 Juniors or u23s. For example this year only one u23 rider from EM entered the U23 National Series race in Scotland; I am sure there are several riders in the Div who could get together to form a team in events like this. And you would get Division Support. One advantage of this scheme is that you remain in your existing club; Arthur will work with your existing team manager/coach to ensure you receive the best advice.
So Club Officials and riders please encourage riders in your club to contact Roger or Arthur. Note this is only open to riders who are members of EM Div registered clubs or private members of BC who reside in EM.

Yep - we were weren't we Tim Cool
-saw some bloody good riders through our ranks. Good luck to Arthur and the division for continuing with an activity that got lost during the transition period of new divisions.
Must look on the other sections more often Embarassed
