I have just heard from Jeff and he was wiped out by a trailer on his bike last night, and is in leicester general.
He has suffered multiple fractured ribs a punctured lung and a broken nose.

On behalf of his team and his friends i'd like to wish him a very speedy recovery.

Rodders

Shocked OMG not again! Best wishes to Jeff for a full and speedy recovery.

Perhaps an East Mids moderator could move this to the main section as Jeff is known far beyond the East Midalnds.

Bit of a PM from Jeff, bear in my Jeff usually does about 27mph on 39x15 Shocked

Hi Swainy,

Descending into Oakham, 4x4 and trailer overtook me slowed to a stop, I overtook it 53x 12, it turned right on me, I hit it using my head as a brake.

Finished up unconscious beneath the trailer, Multiple rib fractures, punctured lung, broken nose, grazes to face requiring stitches, severve burns to back (may need a graft to put right got to plastics team again next week in the Royal) Severe bruising to right side and left cheek. Needed chest drain to sort out lung.

See you soon mate, when i wont give you the lurgy to add to your tally Rolling Eyes Wink
