I came down in Summerby this morning, no grip what so ever at the Post Office corner. Bit of road rash to me and the bike but the worst part is the hole, yes a hole! in my new Assos jacket.

Bryan
Hope you are ok...
That corner is bad news even when everywhere else is ok.

Halstead to Launde abbey i sbought to be iffy tomorrow.
2006 Watched Geoff Platts fall off on the mud and ice, about 5 seconds after Snodin said I fell off here last year.

Bad luck, I was only thinking how nice your new Assos top looked last Sunday.

Windmill?

I finished with John F at 12:13 as far as I know nobody was in front of us.

God first Melton really means a lot to some people!

Maybe put a bit of effort into racing and stop looking at the powertap, you'd be average Rolling Eyes

'Some people believe being first Melton is a matter of life and death.
I'm very disappointed with that attitude.
I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'

Nah mate, we stopped for someone who punctured and then waited when he went to Wymondham to get a new tyre!

Bryan, I think that you need to buy a set of stablizers not flashy Assos kit, how many times have you fallen off this winter?

That's like Panta claiming first to Skeg last year Wink Laughing

The 'real' 1st Melton would have to be Jimmy C - very impressive yesterday. I very nearly blew my **** off on the way home, much to the amusement of Josh & JC - JC did give me a little tip tho if I really 'blew' - 'just ride into an old lady's garden and raid the bird feeder' Laughing

Three and it’s only March, but my technique is improving, even the man on the motorbike commented on my flat landing and roll. But there again Rob you have to be on a bike to fall off it!! Very Happy
