Thanks Ken this was a late addition to BC calander more my fualt than anyone else and thought that this would be better for gaining entries up to the wire but I hopped for more entries than I have. Please see Events Forum with the same race name. Thanks again for your input

Unfortunately Tour of Pendle is the same day else I would have made the trip down to race for beer!

I'm trying to get Sir Lord tommo to ride the 1.2cat race but he said he's retired for the season [ about 3 months ago] Rolling Eyes

It appears that the trend regarding races post TDF remains. It has always been difficult for promotors in the summer months of July and August, due mainly to family holidays etc. But we have always seen that drop in enthusiasm too.
Put a post on the main page ( if you haven't already), and ask BC if they will do a piece on it.

It's pity that the race is the same day as the Tour of Pendle, which will take away a few E12's, especially as there's nothing on the following week.

Yeah it was a problem with the sports centre that closes week after next and booked next Sunday. We were hoping for the end of August, like I said earlier. Lesson learnt for next time.

Only open to 1,2,3 anyway keep them elites away they are soft tappers Laughing
