As stated elsewhere, Sedgebrook Cafe have imposed a limit of 10 cyclists at any one time.
Apparently they don't like taking £200 off the 50 riders who turn up every other Saturday on the Parrot run.
Perhaps we should start a campaign to get Broughton Lodge rebuilt. |

Spoke to the Fishing Lakes at Eastwell on Sunday who said they would have no problem with the Saturday run turning up there. _________________ As Chris Carmichael would say in his training manual "What would Lance do?". Now we know! |

How anyone can be so stupid, and alienate a group of regular customers is beyond me . _________________ Users browsing this forum: None |

So how did it go at the new Saturday morning venue of Lakeview Fishing?
I got dropped after Doris "attacked" after Orston. Then the group got split crossing the A52 at Elton.
How many got to the cafe stop? |

25-30 at the cafe. went through the hilly backlanes belvoir-knipton-eaton came out on the eastwell-walton road.
...good route, could have gone left at the castle, down to Woolsthorpe then Harston to Knipton and onwards....then turned left onto Eastwell/Walton road instead of right, then up past Goadby, through Scalford, Ironstone lane to the cafe to add on a few as well. _________________ I've got a plan.....and ITS AS HOT AS MY PANTS! |
