There is a few of us shift workers, part timers, students etc. interested in getting a midweek morning winter run going throughout the winter. I appreciate there is the Sherwood one with the oldies running on a Wednesday morning, so if you have a preference for a Tuesday or Thursday we could do that. No club affliation and all would be welcome.

Possibly 9am at Lowdham Island for 2-3hrs brisk tempo for people to get back for work etc. Usual routes around North Notts, Belvoir, Newark etc.

Might be good to have one fixed weekly meeting spot and avoid the text messages every week.

Pm me or post your thoughts.
Paul

Our Steve's had his uni timetable and he has all day Tuesday, Weds pm and all day Thursday off.

I know Nottm Trent are trying to get a cycling club going, so may be some interest from them for a Wednesday pm run.

Thursday mornings look favourite, so we don't interfere with Sherwoods Wednesday run.

Will start after the clocks go back.

If the Students get something together for a Wednesday afternoon run and non students are welcome, put a note on here.

Do your reading at night when it's dark. Get out training during the day when it's light.

For unseen reasons I will not be able to make the next two weeks.

State a time and meeting place for Thursday mornings and take it from there.

Thursdays 9am at Burnstump at the junction to Papplewick pumping station, approx 500m from the A60 turn off, seems to be favourite?

Or stick to Lowdham?

Whatever you're happy with I'll get Elaina to clean up the thread and leave it locked or as a sticky.

Are the students not getting something going for Wednesday afternoons?
